SpamBlocker 4.5.2+ will have popb4smtp disabled by default.
The binary da-pop4bsmtp will still run, as it needs to run to log bandwidth/connections, but the exim.variables.conf will not look for the pophosts file.
SpamBlocker 4.5.1+ can now do this via the exim.variables.conf.custom, eg:
echo "hostlist relay_hosts=" >> /etc/exim.variables.conf.custom
If you want to disable the use of popb4smtp, and rely only on smtp-auth, edit the file:
/etc/exim.confFind the code:
hostlist relay_hosts = net-lsearch;/etc/virtual/pophostsand change it to be:
hostlist relay_hosts =and restart exim:
/etc/init.d/exim restart # Redhat/Debian
