One-Click login to RoundCube and phpMyAdminLast Modified: Oct 5, 2019, 8:14 pm
With the release of DirectAdmin 1.59.0, we now support one-click logins for both RoundCube and phpMyAdmin.
This is often called Single SignOn, or SSO logins.  No password is needed to login to these accounts.
  • To enable one-click login for RoundCube

    cd /usr/local/directadmin/
    ./directadmin set one_click_webmail_login 1
    service directadmin restart
    cd custombuild
    ./build update
    ./build dovecot_conf
    ./build exim_conf
    ./build roundcube

To use the feature, go to:

    User Level -> E-Mail Accounts

and the 2nd "Login" Column will have a list of URLs which can be clicked to login as this E-Mail account.  Note, it does not apply to the system account (DA Login), only virtual email accounts.
  • To enable one-click login for phpMyAdmin

    cd /usr/local/directadmin/
    ./directadmin set one_click_pma_login 1
    service directadmin restart
    cd custombuild
    ./build update
    ./build phpmyadmin

    To the feature, go to:

User Level -> MySQL Management -> click any database name -> click "Login" on the far right

You can make /phpMyAdmin SSO-only accessible (no user/pass allowed) using:

    cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
    ./build update
    ./build set phpmyadmin_public no
    ./build phpmyadmin

such that any access to /phpMyAdmin manually would throw:

Access to phpMyAdmin is only allowed from control panel.
